1. Water, Water, and More Water
Hydration is vital at all times – never more so than when you’ve been on a binge. Forget coffee in the morning. Take on more water instead.
2. Take a Stroll
A brisk stroll has long been seen as the best thing to do after a feast. So why not head outside, listen to your favorite music or podcast, and take a long walk? You will come back feeling like a new person - guaranteed.
3. Hit the Gym
Of course, it’s often possible to have a workout every day. But try and squeeze in a gym visit the following day to burn off the extra calories.
4. Turn to Fiber
Don’t exacerbate the situation by giving in to your craving for more unhealthy food the day after a binge. Prepare meals rich in fiber like brown rice, oats, or lentils. This way, you won’t overeat and will promote healthy bowel movements.
5. Let the Regret Go
You’re only human and one mistake isn’t the end of the world. So, don’t waste your time on regret. Let it fuel your motivation to reach your fitness and weight loss goals.
