Fruits and vegetables are often frozen within just a few hours of being in the ground. The freezing process then locks all their good qualities (vitamin, mineral, and other contents) and stay in tacked until consummation. This means that there’s a high chance of these foods being more nutrient-rich than the fresh produce you just bought at the market.
The Weaknesses of Relying on Frozen Meals
Unfortunately, most rapid and comfortable solutions come at a price. In this case, beware of the high sodium content, added sugars, and saturated fats.
