Coca-Cola is bringing back one of its most buzzed-about flavors, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. After a 17-year hiatus, Coca-Cola Lime is making a comeback, hitting shelves in the U.K. soon.

"We're excited to bring a slice of lime to the nation's favorite cola, growing our range with a new flavor – with or without sugar – that we know shoppers love," said Rob Yeomans, Vice-President of Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB. "Flavored colas are outpacing the overall cola category as consumers seek fresh twists on their favorite drinks. This sub-segment offers a significant growth opportunity for retailers, and we'll continue to invest in our range throughout 2025 to help them capitalize on it."

The company followed up last year’s relaunch of Coca-Cola Lemon, which had been discontinued in 2006, with the reintroduction of Coca-Cola Lime. "Building on the success of Coca-Cola Lemon, which has generated nearly £20 million in value sales since its launch, Coca-Cola Lime offers consumers another refreshing choice in the growing flavored colas segment, featuring a tangy, bittersweet taste," the company shared.

Customers have already spotted the bottles in stores like Asda, FarmFoods, and Tesco. "So glad they did this as a full sugar version," one person wrote on Facebook. Another added, "Tesco have it too."

"Following the incredible success of last year's new flavor launches, we're thrilled to expand our flavor portfolio with the introduction of Coca-Cola Lime," said Charlotte Walsham, Senior Brand Manager at Coca-Cola. "Fans of Coca-Cola can now enjoy the classic taste they love with a refreshing, tangy citrus twist."

While Coca-Cola continues to innovate with exciting new flavors, Diet Coke remains a cornerstone of the brand, bolstered by a new partnership with actor Jamie Dornan (currently exclusive to the U.K.). "We are honored to announce Jamie Dornan as Diet Coke's latest ambassador, continuing the brand's tradition of collaborating with icons from film, fashion, and culture," said Louise Maugest, Senior Marketing Director. "We’re excited to work with Jamie to bring the new campaign to life, inspiring people to embrace their own style and taste while enjoying an iconic Diet Coke break."

"I'm delighted to join the Diet Coke family," Dornan shared. "The 'This Is My Taste' campaign really spoke to me, as it reminds us to carve out moments of happiness for ourselves—whether that’s lounging on a unicorn floatie or simply enjoying a Diet Coke break."
